PEAK Caldera Level Tips & Guide

PEAK Caldera Level Tips & Guide

Written by Jason B.

The Caldera level in the game PEAK is a lava-filled zone where speed and timing matter more than climbing. You’ll mostly be running, not scaling, while dodging lava and dealing with heat damage.

Use Red Rocks to Cross

The lava rises and falls over time. When it lowers, red-hot rocks are revealed across the ground.

You can run across them, but they still hurt. Burning damage builds fast, so move quickly and heal if needed. Stepping in the lava itself is a quick death.

Luggage Is Rare

Luggage bags are hard to find in Caldera. Bring items from earlier zones, especially food and healing supplies.

There are a few chains and parkour routes, but not many safe spots to rest or loot.

Head for the Volcano

You won’t be doing much climbing here. Most of the level is a flat sprint to the far side.

Once you reach the volcano, look for a black brick tower. Climb it to reach a new luggage stash and the next statue. That marks the end of Caldera.

Final Blurb

Caldera is more stressful than skill-based. You’re not climbing anymore... you’re sprinting across burning rocks and hoping your gear holds up.

Just don’t touch the lava. It ends very badly.
