PEAK Where to Find the Capybara Location (Game)

Written by Jason B.

Capybaras in PEAK only spawn in the Alpine biome, and you’ll need to climb up the mountain before they appear. They’re tied to the Animal Serenading Badge Achievement, which unlocks when you play the bugle near one.

They don't show up at the base. You’ll need to actually start climbing before they load in.

Where to Look for the Capybara

Only spawns in the Alpine zone

This is the snowy mountain biome. If you aren’t in it, they won’t appear.

Start climbing

Capybaras won’t spawn until you get partway up the mountain. Standing at the base won’t help.

Watch for steam from below

You can sometimes spot steam trails rising from capybara locations when looking up from ground level. This is your biggest clue without help.

Check the PEAK Discord

For exact coordinates, the #spoilers channel in the official Discord often has daily locations posted by other players. You can also ask directly.

Bring the bugle

Once you find one, use the bugle to earn the badge. No bugle, no progress.

Final Blurb

The capybara in PEAK hides in the high mountain zones, but it's not random. Start climbing, look for steam, and check the Discord if you’re stuck.

Be sure you don’t forget your bugle or it’s all for nothing.
