R.E.P.O.: What Does Tumble (Q) Do?

Tumble (Q) is your go-to move for getting out of bad situations. It’s a quick dodge that lets you dive out of danger, whether that’s an enemy attack or just poor life choices. Here’s a bit more information explaining what Tumble is and how it works.

How Tumble Works:

  • Press Q, and your character rolls in the direction you’re moving.

  • Helps you dodge attacks, escape tight spots, and move faster when needed.

  • Doesn’t make you invincible—bad timing still gets you hit.

When to Use It:

  • Dodging enemy swings instead of taking them to the face.

  • Escaping corners when you’ve looted yourself into a trap.

  • Closing distance faster when grabbing loot before someone (or something) else does.

Tumble Launch Upgrade ($4K-5K):

  • Increases your dodge roll distance, making it easier to escape or reposition.

  • Lets you cover more ground faster, which is great when running for your life.

  • Worth it if you find yourself barely missing dodges or just want to roll like you mean it.

Final Blurb:

Tumble is falling with style, but without the upgrade, it’s more of a polite trip forward. If you’re serious about survival, upgrading can turn it into a real escape tool.
