Additives can boost your plants' growth, yield, or quality. This guide explains each additive, how combinations work, and where to get them.
Additives
Fertilizer
Increases plant quality. Best choice if you want premium products.
PGR (Plant Growth Regulator)
Increases yield but reduces quality. Ideal if you want quantity over quality.
Speed Grow
Cuts growth time by 50% but reduces quality. Useful when you want faster harvests.

Tip: For the highest quality, just use Fertilizer alone.
How to Use Additives
Plant a seed in a pot or grow tent.
Equip an additive bottle.
Interact with the pot or tent.
Hold the bottle, tilt with movement keys, and pour over the soil.
Spread evenly until the coverage meter hits 100%.
You’ll see small colored dots in the soil showing which additive was applied.
Note: Empty bottles can be sold at the Trash Grabber for $1 each. They also fill the Trash Grabber bin by 10%.
Botanists can apply additives automatically when managing plants.
