Schedule 1: How to Get a Baseball Bat

Note: This guide covers content from Schedule 1, a satirical video game set in a fictional world. All items, recipes, and references are entirely made up and exist only in the game. Please don’t try any of this in real life.

If you’ve ever found yourself thinking, “I love running my operation, but I also wish I had something to swing around in self-defense,” good news: Schedule 1 has a baseball bat. It’s a basic melee weapon, but it gets the job done—whether you’re fending off enemies or just feel like swinging wildly in your basement for no reason.

Where to Find the Baseball Bat

  • Head to your starting safehouse (the one you get early in the game)

  • Go into the basement or side rooms—depending on your setup

  • Look around shelves, tool benches, or corners

At some point, you'll come across a baseball bat just sitting there, even if it’s just out and about in the world. No store, no black market, no weird cash drop—it’s just… there. Waiting for you. Glowing slightly, if you squint hard enough.

What It’s For

  • Self-defense

  • Breaking open crates

  • Keeping NPCs at a safe distance when they get twitchy

  • Definitely not intimidation

  • And of course, casual backyard baseball

There’s no upgrade path (yet), but it does help you feel a little less helpless if things go sideways.

Final Blurb

Getting the bat in Schedule 1 is easy, but finding a good excuse to use it is the hard part. Just remember, it’s for “sports and safety,” not for, you know, handling supply chain issues with excessive force.
