Step 1: Get to the Boss Area

You’ll need to head to Act 3 and find the Matalin Waterways. There’s no waypoint nearby, so reaching this area will take a bit of time. Be ready for a journey, but don’t worry—it’s worth it.

Once you’re in the waterways, look for a checkpoint. You’ll hit this checkpoint just before you get to the boss area. This is important because it lets you respawn nearby, making farming faster.

Step 2: Defeat the Boss

When you reach the boss, take him down as usual. After he’s defeated, use an ability that can destroy his body. This part is crucial because blowing up the body resets the area properly, allowing the boss to respawn.

Step 3: Respawn and Repeat

Once the boss’s body is gone, hit respawn at the checkpoint and head back to the boss area. You can keep farming him this way. In about 15 runs, the guide’s creator managed to get two Inscribed Ultimatums, so be patient.

Tip: Having a Rarity boost of around 70% seemed to help with getting better drops, so it’s a good idea to use gear that increases item rarity.
