Storm Quest Guide and Walkthrough KCD2 | Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

"Storm" is a main quest in KCD2, set in Trosky. Henry starts in Istvan Toth’s torture chamber, and your goal is to escape, retrieve your gear, and take down Istvan.
Step 1: Survive the Torture
Henry and Zizka are being tortured while Godwin watches.
You can’t avoid the outcome, as Godwin will eventually talk.
Best dialogue path to take:
“Leave Zizka alone!”
“Leave him alone!”
“I’ll gut you, and then Erik!”
Speech check (Medium)
Warfare check (Hard)
Scholarship check (Medium)
Speech check (Medium)
“For the last time, go fuck yourself!”
(Stay silent)
Step 2: Escape with Katherine’s Help
After Toth leaves, Katherine arrives and frees you.
She updates you on the situation, and you now need to:
Find the Scribe’s Orders.
Kill Istvan and search his room.
Retrieve your equipment.
Loot the dead guard’s armor and weapon, then put them on before leaving.
Step 3: Sneak Through the Fortress
Search the Scribe’s Chambers
Go upstairs through the kitchen and enter the pantry.
A guard is drinking by a keg—knock him out and loot his Silver Doppelganger Badge.
Exit into the next room and go up the stairs.
Walk along the courtyard walkway until a cutscene triggers between Toth and Erik.
Step 4: Get to the Crone Tower
After the cutscene, take the walkway on the south side (avoiding a guard).
Enter the dining hall, then go through the far door and up the next staircase.
Two guards are drinking:
Wait—one will pass out, and the other goes upstairs.
Follow him up the stone steps.
Enter the Scribe’s chambers (left side of the room).
Step 5: The Orders Are Missing
Search containers and scroll piles in the room.
Henry realizes the orders aren’t here.
Next Steps
The quest continues as you now have to find another way to stop Istvan Toth. The next phase involves killing Istvan and reclaiming your gear.
✔ Use stealth to avoid fights.
✔ Always loot knocked-out guards for key items.
✔ Follow the guards' movements to avoid getting caught.
