SWTOR Can You Replay Story Missions?

So, you’re deep into Star Wars: The Old Republic (SWTOR), you’ve finished some epic story arcs, and now you're wondering — can I replay those story missions? The short answer is: Yes, you can! But let’s break it down, because SWTOR has a lot of story content, and how you replay it depends on which part you want to revisit.
Replay Options: What Can You Actually Replay?
1. Knights of the Fallen Empire & Knights of the Eternal Throne
These expansions have replayable chapters. You can:
Replay any chapter from KOTFE or KOTET.
Choose Story Mode or Veteran Mode difficulty.
Veteran Mode is harder — meant for decent gear and a strong companion. But don’t worry, you can switch back to Story Mode mid-mission if it’s too tough (you can’t switch up though without restarting).
Why replay these?
Story nostalgia
Command XP farming
Achievements and collectibles
How to Replay Them:
Open your Mission Log.
Go to the Chapters tab.
Select the chapter and difficulty, then hit Replay.
Boom, back into the action.
2. Earlier Storylines (Class Stories, Rise of the Hutt Cartel, etc.)
Here’s where it gets tricky: You can’t fully replay class stories or early expansions on the same character.
To replay earlier content, you have 2 options:
Create a new character and start from scratch.
Use the Character Copy feature (for testing), but that’s only for the Public Test Server and doesn’t affect your live account.
Bonus Tip: Flashpoints and Operations
Some story-driven Flashpoints (like the Revan arc) are replayable for story reasons. Just queue them through the Group Finder or visit the terminal on your ship.
Final Blurb
You can relive SWTOR’s biggest cinematic moments, especially from KOTFE and KOTET, without needing to reroll your Jedi or Sith. But if you want to re-experience your Class Story, well... time to roll another toon. No shame — most of us have 8 alts anyway.
