The Thunderstone is a side quest in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, obtained from Kona in Grund. She needs a thunderstone, a magical charm, and asks for your help in retrieving it. The quest involves fighting, tracking stolen goods, freeing a prisoner, and making a moral choice about the stone’s fate.

How to Start The Thunderstone Quest

1. Travel to Grund in the Kuttenberg region.

2. Find Kona near the drying racks and herb garden.

3. Speak to her and agree to help retrieve the thunderstone.

Walkthrough

Step 1: Fight Thomlin in Horschan

• Travel west of Grund to Horschan and find Thomlin Bruthans.

• Challenge him to a fight.

• After defeating him, he offers to return your money, but says he no longer has the thunderstone.

Step 2: Talk to Peter in Raborsch

• Head farther west to Raborsch, north of Suchdol.

• Find Peter on the farm and ask about the stone.

• He tells you that Hensel has the stone but has been captured by Andrew.

Step 3: Rescue Hensel from the Encampment

• Travel northeast to a military encampment near the ponds between Raborsch and Bohunowitz.

• Sneak past or fight the guards.

• Find Hensel tied up in a shack. Untie him and speak with him after leaving.

• Hensel reveals that the stone was stolen from him by Ramhead and sold to Mlada in Suchdol.

Step 4: Get the Thunderstone from Mlada in Suchdol

• Travel to the edge of Suchdol and find Mlada.

• She tells you she bought the stone to heal her sick husband.

• To get the stone, you must help her husband by completing the Primum Nil Nocere task.

Step 5: Complete Primum Nil Nocere

• Help Mlada’s husband recover.

• After finishing the task, return to Mlada and choose the dialogue option:

  • "The thunderstone can help others."

• She will then give you the stone.

Final Choice: What to Do with the Thunderstone

1. Give the Thunderstone to Kona

   • Reward: Recipe for Lethean Water

   • Outcome: Helps Kona, who initially sent you on this quest.

2. Return the Thunderstone to Thomlin

   • Outcome: Gives it back to the one who originally found it.

3. Keep the Thunderstone for Yourself

   • Outcome: You keep it after all your hard work.

4. Steal the Stone After Completing the Quest

   • You can return the stone to one person, then steal it back to get both rewards or keep it permanently.

Best Choice?

• If you want a useful alchemy recipe, give it to Kona.

• If you roleplay as honorable, return it to Thomlin.

• If you think you deserve it, keep it for yourself.

• If you like exploits, return it, then steal it back.
