After completing The Thunderstone quest in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, you must decide who to give the Thunderstone to or whether to keep it for yourself. Each choice has different rewards and outcomes, so we made a simple guide telling you what happens depending on what choice you make.

Choices for the Thunderstone

1. Give the Thunderstone to Kona

  • Location: Grund

  • Reward: Recipe for Lethean Water

  • Outcome: Kona gets the stone for its magical properties, fulfilling the original quest request.

2. Return the Thunderstone to Thomlin

  • Location: Horschan

  • Reward: No additional reward, but you complete the quest by returning the stone to its original finder.

  • Outcome: Thomlin gets back what was taken from him.

3. Keep the Thunderstone for Yourself

  • Outcome: You keep the item, but there is no known special use for it.

  • Best for: Players who don’t want to side with Kona or Thomlin.

4. Steal the Thunderstone Back

  • How: Return it to either Kona or Thomlin, then pickpocket or steal it back.

  • Outcome: You can get both quest rewards and still keep the stone.

  • Best for: Players who want maximum rewards and don’t mind sneaky tactics.

Best Choice?

  • For a useful reward, give the Thunderstone to Kona for the Lethean Water Recipe.

  • For roleplaying as honorable, return it to Thomlin.

  • For a selfish option, keep it for yourself.

  • For an exploit, return it, then steal it back.

No matter what you choose, The Thunderstone is a rewarding side quest with multiple ways to complete it.
