In ATLYSS, the "The Colossus" quest tasks players with defeating a formidable golem in the Crescent Grove. This guide provides a step-by-step walkthrough to help you complete the quest plus some tips to defeat the Colossus:

Objectives

1. Defeat the Colossus in the Crescent Grove.

1. Accept the Quest

• After reaching level 15, speak with Enok in the Sanctum.

• He will inform you about the Colossus, a powerful golem created by the corrupted Carbuncle brothers, Alshar and Stezza, and task you with its destruction.

2. Prepare for Battle

• Equipment: Bring your best gear and items.

• Supplies: Stock up on healing items and any buffs that can aid in combat.

• Skills: Read up on the abilities it has (see below).

3. Travel to Crescent Grove

• Exit the Sanctum and proceed to the Outer Sanctum.

• Locate the portal leading to Crescent Grove.

• Interact with the portal to enter the Crescent Grove.

4. Locate the Colossus

• Navigate through the Crescent Grove until you reach the Colossus's arena.

• The Colossus will be dormant upon your arrival but will awaken as you approach.

5. Defeat the Colossus

• Combat Strategy:

  • Movement: Stay mobile to avoid the Colossus's powerful attacks.

  • Attack Patterns: Learn its attack patterns.

  • Minions: Be prepared for Alshar and Stezza to join the battle when the Colossus's health is reduced to half. Take them out ASAP.

    Colossus Abilities

• Arms raise above head, slamming into ground creating a shockwave (repeats up to 3 times when low on health).

  • Stand just in front of him and parry shortly after his arms glow red. Avoid standing too close to avoid the shockwave. For ranged fighters, dodge and keep distance. This is his slowest attack.

• Holds arms forward, then charges to tackle you.

  • Parry when he starts shaking. This attack is faster than the shockwave.

• Lies down, charges a laser, and fires at you.

  • Parry as soon as his eye glows, then dodge away to a safe distance. This is his quickest and easiest attack to parry.

6. Return to Enok

• After defeating the Colossus exit the Crescent Grove.

• Return to Enok in the Sanctum.

• Report your success to complete the quest and receive your rewards.

Tips

• Preparation: The Colossus is a challenging enemy. Bring the right items and gear.

• Learn Attack Patterns: Learn the abilities that the Colossus has (see above).

• Manage Minions: When Alshar and Stezza join the fight take them out first.
