Cyberpunk 2.3 Update Features & Changes

Written by Andrew Hammel

Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.3 adds new vehicles, gameplay systems, visual tools, and platform support. It goes live on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on July 17, 2025. A Switch 2 version will follow later as part of the Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition.

This guide covers every major feature in the Cyberpunk 2.3 update.

New Vehicles and AutoDrive

Four new vehicles have been added, with several tied to new side jobs:

  • Yaiba ARV-Q340 Semimaru

  • Rayfield Caliburn "Mordred"

  • Yaiba ASM-R250 Muramasa

  • Chevillon Legatus 450 Aquila

AutoDrive is a new autonomous driving feature. Hold H (PC) or Left Stick (console) while on a road to activate it. It will drive you to your pinned marker or current job. AutoDrive shuts off in combat or if the car takes major damage.

You can also use a new Cinematic Camera during AutoDrive by holding Q (PC) or D-Pad Right (console).

Self-Driving Delamain Cabs

After finishing the quest Don't Lose Your Mind, you can call Delamain Cabs anytime. Use the vehicle call menu and select "Delamain Cab" for instant transport.

CrystalCoat Expansion

The CrystalCoat system now supports more vehicles, including motorcycles. A cracked version is available for lower-end cars, but not all models support it (especially Nomad or quest vehicles).

  • Switch outfits for both NPCs and V

  • Add new stickers, quotes, and frames

  • Use improved depth of field and a new color balance tab

  • Texture and localization issues were addressed

  • The EULA has been updated and will need to be accepted again

Cyberpunk 2.3 is a polish-heavy update with new vehicles, expanded Photo Mode, improved performance, and smoother systems across the board. AutoDrive and self-driving cabs let you experience Night City hands-free, while support for FSR 4 and HDR10+ make the game look and feel better on every platform.
