How to Beat Petank in Stone Wave Cliffs — Clair Obscur Expedition 33

You’ll find this Petank in the Old Farm area at Stone Wave Cliffs. It’s the one that refuses to take damage and loves to waste your time.

Understanding the Petank

• When you start the fight, the Petank summons weak Nevrons.

• As long as those Nevrons are alive, the Petank will barely take damage. (Think 10 damage per hit. Yep.)

• No element will help until you clear the summons.

What To Do

• Step 1: Chase the Petank to its pedestal. You can’t hurt it until it stops running.

• Step 2: As soon as it summons minions, kill all the Nevrons first.

• Step 3: Once the adds are gone, the Petank’s defenses drop and you can actually deal real damage.

• Repeat this until it gives up and dies.

Best Tips

• Use AoE attacks or fast single-target skills to clear the summons.

• Bring break damage skills (Breaking Shots Pictos work great).

• Be quick. If you take too long, the Petank may run away and reset the fight.

Rewards

• You’ll get upgrade mats, including a Recoat and other handy materials.

• No special loot, but worth the effort.
