How to Boost Crafting in OSRS
In Old School RuneScape (OSRS), boosting your Crafting level can help you make higher-level items, complete quests, or unlock new content. Here’s a simple guide to the ways you can boost your Crafting level heading into 2025.
1. Mushroom Pie
Boost Amount: +4 Crafting.
How to Get It:
Make it yourself by combining a Sulliuscep cap and a pie shell, then cooking it.
Each pie has two bites, and each bite gives the +4 boost.
Best For: Quick and easy boosts when you need a higher level for crafting items.
2. Spicy Stew (Orange Spice)
Boost Amount: Random between -5 and +5.
How to Get It:
Complete the Evil Dave part of the Recipe for Disaster quest.
Add up to 3 orange spice doses to a stew.
Important Note: This boost is random, so it might lower your Crafting level instead of raising it.
3. Crafting Cape
Boost Amount: +1 Crafting.
How to Get It:
You need to reach level 99 Crafting to buy this cape.
Use the cape to get the boost whenever you need it.
Best For: Small boosts for quick tasks.
4. Poison Chalice
Boost Amount: +1 Crafting (random).
How to Get It:
Talk to Stankers near the Coal Trucks west of Seers’ Village to get a Poison Chalice.
Important Note: The effect is random and might not always boost your Crafting.
Extra Tips
Use the Preserve Prayer:
If you use the Preserve prayer, it will slow down how fast your boost goes away.
Plan Ahead:
Use boosts for specific tasks like crafting higher-level gear or completing quests.
Boosts Don’t Stack:
If you use multiple boosts, only the highest one will count.
Boosting your Crafting skill is helpful and easy. Use these methods to get the levels you need for crafting or quests. Have fun and good luck in Gielinor!
