How to Drop Items on Console

Press and hold the down button on the D-pad.
A selection menu will appear on your screen.
Use the menu to highlight the item you want to drop, such as your backpack or a weapon.
Release the button to drop the item on the ground.

How to Drop Items on PC

Press and hold the number key "5" on your keyboard.
This will bring up the same selection menu as on PS5.
