How to Keep the Unicorn in Oblivion Remastered

The unicorn in Oblivion Remastered is a rare mount you can actually keep if you play it right. No mods, no cheats, just good old-fashioned fast traveling.
Where To Find the Unicorn
You’ll find the unicorn hanging out in Harcane Grove. It’s northwest of Bravil, near the Upper Niben River. When you get close, you’ll see it guarded by three angry minotaurs who clearly skipped charm school.
How To Ride the Unicorn Without Dying
Step 1: Don’t pull out a weapon. The unicorn hates that. Even your fists will set it off.
Step 2: Use a Chameleon or Invisibility spell if you don’t feel like dealing with the minotaurs.
Step 3: Sneak up and hop on the unicorn.
Step 4: Ride away like you stole it—because you basically did.
How To Actually Keep the Unicorn
Here’s the trick nobody tells you:
Once you’re on the unicorn, fast travel somewhere safe.
When you get off, the unicorn won’t run back to Harcane Grove like it used to in the old days.
It will stay where you left it, and when you fast travel again, it shows up with you like a loyal (and very stabby) horse.
Just remember—don’t attack anything while riding it, and never draw a weapon near it. The unicorn has trust issues and will turn on you fast.
Final Blurb
Congrats, you’ve got yourself a magical murder horse. Treat it well, avoid pulling out weapons near it, and enjoy flexing on everyone in Cyrodiil with the rarest ride in the game. Just don’t forget—if you decide to use it for the Hircine quest, that’s a one-way trip.
