Item stacks fill up quick in IdleOn, so knowing the split trick makes storage way easier. The game hides the option in the stash, but once you know where to click it works every time.
How to Split an Item Stack
You split stacks by opening your stash, revealing the hidden storage info panel, then using the stack split option inside that sidebar. As of now, as far as we’ve been able to find, you cannot split it directly from your inventory so you must go to your chest.
Opening the Stash First
Go to any town and walk up to your stash chest. Open it as usual. You should see your normal storage screen. The split option will never appear in your inventory or in world drops. It only works inside the stash.
Some players miss the split tools because part of the UI can collapse itself. This is normal. The game tries to keep the screen clean, which hides the button you need.
Revealing the Hidden Sidebar
Look at the lower left corner of the stash screen. There is a small button labeled storage info. It does not look like a button at all. It blends into the UI and tricks a lot of players.
Click it once. A new sidebar slides open. This sidebar has extra storage tools that the game never explains.
Splitting Your Stack
Inside the sidebar you should see the stack split option. Click it, then select the item stack you want to divide. Choose the amount you want to pull out. Confirm the number and the game creates a new smaller stack right away.
You can keep splitting again and again if you need more smaller stacks. This helps when setting up construction materials, feeding pets, or balancing storage tabs.
