KLETKA: How to Feed the Elevator

Your elevator in KLETKA is alive and needs fuel to keep moving. If it gets too hungry, it might even eat you! Knowing how to feed it is, for obvious reasons, 100% necessary to survive and keep exploring deeper into the game. Here’s a simple guide on how to feed the elevator:

What Can You Feed the Elevator?

The elevator can be fueled with the following items:

  1. Gasoline Cans
Gasoline is the best type of fuel. You can pour it directly into the fuel tank to keep the elevator running for longer.

  2. Flesh

    • Human Flesh: Provides 4 units of fuel.

    • Monster Flesh: Provides 5 units of fuel.

  3. Slime Balls
These offer 2 units of fuel each.

How to Feed the Elevator

  1. Use the Fuel Tank
It’s most efficient to feed the elevator through its fuel tank. Place items like gasoline, flesh, or slime balls directly into the tank to get their full fuel value.

  2. Feeding the Mouth
If the elevator becomes hungry, it will display “I’M HUNGRY” on its scanner. At this point, you have around 10 seconds to feed it. You can toss items into its mouth, but there’s a penalty (25% of the fuel value is lost). For example, human flesh that would normally give 4 units will only provide 3 units if fed this way. This is clearly, though, better than dying.

Why Should You Feed the Elevator?

If what we’ve said so far hasn’t convinced you, here is why you should feed it:

  • Avoid Being Eaten: If the elevator gets too hungry it may eat a player. Feeding it on time will stop that from happening.

  • Avoid Getting Stuck: Without enough fuel then the elevator won’t move between floors, leaving you trapped.

Tips for Feeding the Elevator

  • Check Fuel Levels Regularly
Keep an eye on the fuel gauge to avoid surprises.

  • Stock Up on Fuel Items
Collect gasoline cans, flesh, and slime balls as you explore. Having a stockpile can save your lives.

  • Use the Fuel Tank First
Always try to use the tank to get the most fuel value from your items. Feeding the mouth should only be a last resort.

And that’s all there is too it. Best of luck, and try not to get eaten!
