Welkin is a large melee-focused Striker in Mecha Break that uses traps, forcefields, and heavy attacks to dominate 1v1 fights. It works best when you isolate targets and control the pace of combat.
Welkin is strong in duels but can fall apart if surrounded or rushed.
Main Weapons and Skills
Large Battle X
This is Welkin’s main weapon for close combat.
Short tap does a sweeping spin attack
Can’t be parried and causes knockback
Ignores armor and deals direct health damage
Use it first to throw enemies off balance. One good hit can start a chain reaction.
Large Howitzer
Welkin’s only mid-range weapon for covering ground and pressure.
Fires 6 explosive rounds
Deals good area damage
Best used before closing distance
Helps punish fleeing mechs or soften a group before jumping in.
Battle Force Field (Skill 1)
Deploys a drone field that locks targets in place.
Traps enemies and keeps them from escaping
Drones inside apply constant damage and unbalance
Works best when the enemy is already distracted
This is your strongest tool. Use it to force clean duels or stop captures.
Jamming Pulse Launcher (Skill 2)
Short-range pulse that stuns and disables drone-based skills.
Blinds and unbalances enemies
Removes active drones like heals or decoys
Effective against support and drone-heavy mechs
Use this to shut down skills before finishing them with the axe.
Defense Force Field (Skill 3)
Creates a shield and EN-blocking mist.
Blocks frontal damage and slows incoming energy attacks
Helps cover a retreat or protect a push
Stays active for a short time
Best used when low on energy or surrounded.
How to Play Welkin
Welkin is built to isolate enemies and break them with traps and strong melee. Open with the howitzer if needed, then trap with the force field and swing hard.
Use jamming to cancel support skills and secure the kill.
Welkin struggles when focus-fired or rushed by multiple enemies. Save your force field and shield for those moments.
