If you’re a vampire or just want one of the most unique homes in Oblivion Remasteredm, Deepscorn Hollow is the place. It’s got everything: a loyal Dark Minion, a prisoner to feed on, rare weapons and armor, and even a shrine that can turn you human again.

Here’s how to unlock it and fully upgrade your secret lair.

How to Start the Deepscorn Hollow Quest in Oblivion Remastered

  • Step 1: Travel to the Five Riders Stables in the Blackwood region.

  • Step 2: Head southeast toward the coastline. Look for a ruined structure near the water.

  • Step 3: Swim into the water near the ruins. Look for a large horizontal tree underwater. Inside, you’ll find a Wooden Door to Deepscorn Hollow.

Entering the door will automatically start the Deepscorn Hollow quest.

Deepscorn Hollow Quest Walkthrough

Find the Long-Forgotten Journal

  • Once inside, swim through to the main cavern.

  • Look for a journal sitting on a table near where you exit the water.

  • Read it to update the quest.

Purchase the Restoration Plans

  • Travel to the Wawnet Inn just outside the Imperial City.

  • Find Rowley Eardwulf inside (usually sitting near the fireplace).

  • Use the Barter option and buy these upgrades:

    • Deepscorn Bedroom Area

    • Deepscorn Cattle Cell

    • Deepscorn Dark Minion

    • Deepscorn Dining Area

    • Deepscorn Garden Receipt

    • Deepscorn Storage Area

    • Deepscorn Study Area

    • Vigor of Sithis

Once purchased, the base will be fully upgraded and the quest will be complete.

Deepscorn Hollow Fully Upgraded — What’s Inside

Dark Minion

  • Found in the garden area.

  • Can be sent to murder random targets for loot and increase your Infamy.

  • Loot is stored in the Victim’s Chest in his quarters.

  • Returns from a kill every four days.

Feeding Prisoner

  • Located in the Holding Cells.

  • Has infinite HP. Perfect for vampire feeding or combat skill training.

Font of Renewal

  • Located in the Deepscorn Cloister.

  • Lets you cure vampirism and return to human form.

Study and Storage Areas

  • The Study contains spellbooks, skill books, and lore items.

  • The Storage Room has extra containers for safe item storage.

Bedroom and Special Armor

  • In the Deepscorn Bastion dining room, take the right path to the Sleeping Coffin (your bed).

  • Nearby is Greywyn’s Armoire holding the Raiment of the Crimson Scar, a unique light armor set perfect for Thieves and Assassins.

Deepscorn Shrine

  • Found at the end of the Dining Room’s straight path.

  • Contains the Ichor Basin, where you can use the Ichor of Sithis for buffs.

  • At the foot of the shrine’s statue is an Unusual Box holding the Crimson Eviscerator dagger.

  • Near the waterfall is Greywyn’s Final Cache with rare rings and gemstones.

Secret Exit

  • The Deepscorn Cloister also has a Trap Door to Topal Bay, giving you an easy escape route to the sea.
