Oblivion Remastered: How to Start Shivering Isles

If you're ready to swap Cyrodiil’s politics for a bit of madness, Shivering Isles is calling your name (and probably in multiple voices).
In Oblivion Remastered, the Shivering Isles expansion is included by default, so no need to check if you "own" it. The trick now is just finding the door… and accepting that sanity is optional from here on out.
How to Get to the Shivering Isles
Once you escape the tutorial sewers and enjoy that classic "step into the open world" moment, wait 24 in-game hours. After that, you’ll get a message about a strange island popping up in Niben Bay, near Bravil.
Look for the Quest:
You’ll automatically get the quest "A Door in Niben Bay." Follow that quest marker like a moth to a very questionable flame.Find the Strange Door:
Head to the middle of Niben Bay. There’s no missing it — a giant creepy stone door carved with Sheogorath’s lovely face (or faces, depending on how you look at it). A couple of NPCs will be nearby, clearly already regretting their life choices.Enter the Madness:
Just walk up and interact with the door. You'll meet Haskill, Sheogorath’s right-hand... man? Entity? Either way, talking to him officially kicks off your descent into the Shivering Isles questline.
And that’s it. No level requirements, no fancy gear needed — just a willingness to embrace chaos.
Final Blurb
So, if you’re tired of being the hero of Cyrodiil and want to start taking advice from a Daedric Prince who talks about cheese more than world domination, the Shivering Isles are waiting. Just remember: sane people don’t last long there — but they do make great entertainment for Sheogorath.
