If you're brave enough to fight Daedra but still worried about losing progress, don’t worry! Saving in Oblivion Remastered is easy and you should do it often.
First, the game does have autosaves. It'll automatically save when important things happen, like entering new areas or resting. But if you're about to pickpocket a guard or punch a horse — yeah, you're going to want a manual save.
How to Manually Save in Oblivion Remastered:
Open the Menu
On PC: Press ESC.
On Console: Press the Pause button (Options/Menu button depending on your controller).
Go to the System Tab
Once you're in the menu, scroll over to the System section.Choose Your Save Option
Select Save to create a manual save file.
You’ll also see a Quick Save option, which is perfect if you're about to do something... questionable.
That’s it. Now you’re free to make terrible decisions knowing you can reload like nothing ever happened.
Final Blurb
Remember, Oblivion Remastered might autosave, but trusting it is like trusting a mudcrab to guard your gold. Save early, save often, and always before trying to steal sweetrolls.
