Want to vanish without using spells? Here’s how to get, use, and craft Invisibility potions in Oblivion Remastered.

What Does Potion of Invisibility Do?

Effect: Grants Invisibility for 30 seconds.
Weight: 0.5
Value: 120 gold.

Enemies can’t see you while it’s active... unless you attack or interact with something, which will break the effect.

Where to Find Invisibility Potions

  • Loot: Random drops in chests or as dungeon loot at mid-to-high levels.

  • Merchants: Alchemy vendors sometimes sell them, especially in the Imperial City Market District or Mage Guilds.

  • Thieves Guild Fences: Occasionally carry them.

  • Console Command:

    • Open console (~ key).

    • Type: player.additem 000092FF [amount]

    • Example: player.additem 000092FF 5 adds five potions.

How to Craft Invisibility Potions

You’ll need to be skilled in Alchemy and gather ingredients with the Invisibility effect. Here’s how:

Common Ingredients with Invisibility:

  • Chameleon Plant

  • Motherwort Sprig

  • Stinkhorn Cap

  • Bloodgrass

  • Nirnroot (rarely useful but technically works with other effects)

Steps:

  1. Equip an Alchemy apparatus (Mortar & Pestle at minimum).

  2. Combine two or more ingredients that share the Invisibility effect.

  3. Craft the potion. Higher Alchemy skill = stronger and longer-lasting effects.

Tips for Using Invisibility Potions

  • Use them to bypass enemies, avoid fights, or set up sneak attacks.

  • Be careful... attacking or opening doors breaks the invisibility.

  • Stack with Chameleon gear for even better stealth (since Chameleon doesn’t break on actions).

Final Blurb

Invisibility potions can make you untouchable... for about 30 seconds. Use them wisely or you’ll just be a very expensive flash in the pan.
