Schedule 1 Lockers & Where to Buy Them

If you’ve returned to Schedule 1 after a break and can’t figure out where the new lockers are, you’re not alone. Lockers were added in a later patch and many players still assume they don’t exist. The good news is they’re easy to buy once you’re on the right version of the game.
Where to Buy Lockers
Lockers are sold at Dan’s Hardware, the same shop where you get beds and other property items. If you don’t see them in stock, it’s because lockers are only available in the beta branch of the game.
To switch to the beta branch, go into Steam, right-click Schedule 1, select Properties, go to the Betas tab, and choose the beta option. The game will update to the version with lockers included.
How Lockers Work
Lockers replace beds as the default way to assign employees in new saves. They take up less space, cost less money long-term, and streamline property layouts.
In older saves, employees who were already assigned to beds will continue using them. If you want them to switch, you can either reassign directly to a locker or fire and rehire them to start fresh. Both methods work, so there’s no need to delete old furniture unless you want the extra room.
Beta vs Full Release
If you’re on the stable full release, you won’t see lockers at all yet. Beds will remain the default system. Progress carries over between versions, but switching back and forth between stable and beta can sometimes cause save quirks. For the smoothest experience, stick to one branch once you pick it.
Final Blurb
Lockers in Schedule 1 are a cleaner and more efficient upgrade over beds, but they’re locked to the beta branch for now. Grab them from Dan’s Hardware once you’ve updated, and reassign your employees to free up property space.
