What Question Mark Panels Do in Mario Kart World

Written by Andrew Hammel

Question Mark Panels are secret interactables you’ll find scattered throughout Free Roam. Touch one, and you’ll get a unique sticker for customizing your kart.

Collect ten of them, and you’ll also unlock Mirror Mode.

They’re easy to miss if you’re not exploring.

Where to Find Question Panels

You’ll only find Question Panels while playing in Free Roam mode. They’re built into the tracks and world map, not just floating in open space.

They don’t sparkle or make sound, so you’ll need to look closely. They're often hidden along alternate paths, tucked behind objects, or stuck in places where you'd normally just drive past.

To help out, you can open the map and check how many panels you've found per course.

What You Get From Them

Every Question Panel gives you a custom sticker you can use to decorate your kart. Each one is different, and you can check your collection from the customization menu.

If you collect ten total panels, you also unlock Mirror Mode, which flips all tracks and gives you a much harder version of the game to master.

So yeah... it’s not just for flair. There’s real reward here too.

Final Blurb

If you’re skipping Question Panels, you’re missing out on kart customization, map secrets, and one of the game’s tougher challenge modes.

They may be hidden, but finding them makes the grind way more fun than just racing laps.
