Flax is one of the most important early-game resources in RuneScape: Dragonwilds. You’ll need it for crafting threads, bowstrings, and even the Spinning Wheel itself. Luckily, it’s not hard to find—if you know where to look.
Best Places to Find Flax in RuneScape Dragonwilds
You’ll start finding Flax early on in Bramblemead Valley, but the best farming spot is just outside a goblin-infested zone near broken buildings.
Look for blue flowers on the ground. The color stands out clearly against the grass.
Search inside and around ruined houses, especially ones taken over by goblins.
Be ready to fight or run—there are enemies in the area.
Flax also spawns near water bodies, usually with other plants like Potatoes.
Walk up to the plant and interact to collect it.

Flax is used to make:
Coarse Thread (used in most early crafting)
