How Capes Work
Capes go in your back slot and offer small bonuses to melee, ranged, and magic defense. Most of them give the same stats (2 across the board), but how you get them—and how cool they look—is where they really differ.
Tattered Cape
Stats: 0 defense
Crafting: 9 Course Thread
Where: Craft it at any Crafting Table
Why Bother: Honestly? Don’t. It’s your starter rag.
Dragonbane Cape
Stats: 0 defense
Crafting: None
Where: Crafting Table
Why Bother: Exclusive alpha test reward. It’s bragging rights in cape form.
Bramblemead Cape
Stats: 2/2/2
Crafting: 10 Coarse Thread
Where: Recipe is at the top of the Runecrafting Guild
Why Bother: Solid stats and pretty easy to craft once you get the recipe.
Garou Highborn’s Cloak

Bloodblight Cape

Why Bother: You’re going there anyway. Might as well grab it and get something for all that swamp suffering.
