Star-Lord is a Duelist hero with strong ranged damage and area-of-effect attacks. Here’s what heroes to play and how to counter Star-Lord:

Dr. Strange: Eye of Agamotto (Q) separates Star-Lord’s soul from his body, bypassing his range and dealing direct damage. Shield of the Seraphim (Right Click) blocks his projectiles, reducing his effectiveness.
Magneto: Metallic Curtain (LShift) blocks Star-Lord’s ranged attacks, forcing him to reposition. Meteor M (Q) deals heavy area damage, punishing Star-Lord for staying in one position.
