Marvel Rivals Season 3 Brings Blade, Phoenix, & Major Symbiote Update

Marvel Rivals Season 3 begins on July 11 and introduces two new playable heroes, a full symbiote-themed battle pass, and several visual customization features tied to the new season, The Abyss Awakens.
This season centers around Knull, the creator of symbiotes, and brings a darker visual style across characters and cosmetics.
New Heroes: Blade and Phoenix
Blade and Phoenix are both confirmed as new playable heroes in Season 3.
Blade uses a mix of close-range sword skills and a mid-range hunting gun. He applies anti-heal effects, dashes into fights, and gains lifesteal during his vampiric state. Phoenix has not had her full kit revealed yet but plays a major role in the seasonal narrative.

Leaked and Event Skins
Dataminers report that Moon Knight may receive a Symbiote costume during a future event in Season 3. A Klyntar-themed Captain America skin is also confirmed to launch on July 4, just ahead of the season's start.
Swimsuit Skins and Upcoming Releases
Swimsuit skins are rumored to arrive around July 9, timed with the release of Marvel Swimsuit Special: Friends, Foes, Rivals #1. The characters featured in that comic include:

While not confirmed in-game yet, these characters may receive matching cosmetics later in the season.
Chroma Variants and VFX Skins
Season 3 also brings back Chroma color variants for:

Scarlet Witch – Immortal Sovereign
A new type of cosmetic called Ultimate VFX is also coming, which changes how abilities look for the player using them. Other players will still see the default effects.
