Jewels are items in Path of Exile 2 that make your character stronger. Here's a guide on how to find them, what types there are, and how to use jewel sockets:

1. How to Get Jewels

  • Enemy Drops: Jewels can drop as loot when you defeat enemies.

  • Quest Rewards: Some quests reward you with jewels.

  • Vendors: You can also buy jewels from vendors in towns.

2. Unlock Jewel Sockets

  • Open your Passive Skill Tree.

  • Look for jewel sockets. These are empty spots where you can place jewels.

  • Use a skill point to unlock a socket so you can put a jewel in it.

3. Equip a Jewel

  • Open your Inventory.

  • Select a jewel and drag it into the unlocked jewel socket on your Passive Skill Tree.

  • Once placed, the jewel will give bonuses to your character.

4. Types of Jewels

  • Base Jewels: Cobalt, Crimson, and Viridian Jewels grant buffs when placed in the passive skill tree.

  • Abyss Jewels: Found in Abyss encounters, these can be socketed into both the passive tree and abyssal equipment slots.

  • Cluster Jewels: Expand the passive skill tree with new clusters of skills, available in Small, Medium, and Large sizes.

  • Unique Jewels: Provide powerful, one-of-a-kind effects, often influencing nearby passive nodes.
