How to Move Furniture in Fields of Mistria
Written by Alec Blackwood | Fields of Mistria
To move furniture in Fields of Mistria, equip your pickaxe, walk up to the item, and swing. The furniture will pop into your inventory so you can place it somewhere else.
Use Your Pickaxe
You need a pickaxe to move furniture. If you don’t have one, buy it from March and Olric at the smithy.
Once it’s equipped, walk up to the furniture piece and swing. The item will turn back into an inventory object.
This works for everything inside your home or placed on your farm, including rugs, lamps, tables, crafting stations, and more.
Watch Out for Chests
If you swing at a storage chest, it will break into an item just like other furniture… but everything inside will drop to the ground.
Have extra inventory space ready before moving a chest, or you’ll be stuck picking everything up.
There’s no penalty for doing this, but it can get messy if your bag is full.
Place the Item Again
Open your inventory and select the furniture you just moved.
You can now place it wherever you want, as long as there’s room.
You can repeat this anytime to redesign your space.
Final Blurb
Moving furniture in Fields of Mistria is simple. Just use a pickaxe, grab the item, and place it again. No tools break, no items are lost, and you’re free to redecorate anytime.
