How to Teleport Between Checkpoints in Path of Exile 2: Guide to Fast Travel

In Path of Exile 2, you can quickly move between different areas using Waypoints and the Town Portal skill. Here's how to fast travel and teleport:

1. Using Waypoints

  • Finding Waypoints: As you explore, you'll come across Waypoints in various areas. They look like glowing platforms. When you get close to one, it lights up, meaning it's now active for you.

  • Fast Traveling: To move to another active Waypoint, click on the one you're near. A map will appear, showing all the Waypoints you've activated. Click on the one you want to go to, and you'll teleport there instantly.

2. Using the Town Portal

  • Creating a Portal: You can open a portal to town anytime by clicking the portal button on your screen. It's usually near your skill buttons. If there's no button, you can set up a key for it in the game settings.

  • Going Back and Forth: After creating the portal, step into it to go to town. A matching portal will appear in town, letting you return to where you came from. Remember, these portals disappear after one round trip, so you'll need to make a new one if you want to go back again.

Tips

  • During Boss Fights: You can't use the Town Portal during boss battles. Make sure you're ready before entering these fights.

  • Stay Alert: Enemies can still attack you while you're creating a Town Portal. Find a safe spot before making one.
