How to Unlock Races Star Wars: The Old Republic (SWTOR)

In Star Wars: The Old Republic (SWTOR) you can play as different species. Here's how to unlock them:

1. Free Species

All players can choose these species without any extra steps:

• Human

• Cyborg

• Zabrak

2. Subscriber Species

If you're a subscriber you get access to more species for certain classes:

• Chiss

• Miraluka

• Mirialan

• Rattataki

• Sith Pureblood

• Twi'lek

Note: These species are initially only available for specific classes.

3. Unlocking Species Across All Classes

To play any species with any class you have two options:

• Reach Level 50: Level up a character of the species you want to unlock to level 50. This unlocks that species for all classes in your Legacy.

• Legacy Purchase: Buy the species unlock in the Legacy panel for 1,500,000 credits (subscribers only).

4. Cartel Market Species

Some species can only be unlocked by purchasing them:

• Cathar

• Togruta

• Nautolan

To unlock these you need to buy them from the Cartel Market using Cartel Coins.

5. Important Considerations

• Free-to-Play Limitations: Free players have limited species options and may need to subscribe or make purchases to access more.

• Cartel Market Purchases: Species unlocks can be bought with Cartel Coins or sometimes with credits from other players through the Galactic Trade Network (GTN).
