Mecha Break Mods Explained: What You Should Know
Written by Tyler Harris
Mods in Mecha Break are upgrade items you attach to your mech to boost stats like HP, armor, energy, speed, and more. They let you fine-tune your build to match how you play, and they work in both PvE and PvP modes like Operation Verge and Mashmak.
Here’s how to get mods, use them, and upgrade them.
How to Get Mods
From Supply Crates
Supply Crates are the main way to get mods.
Blue crates give common mods
Purple crates give rare mods
Crates drop from missions, leveling up, and extraction runs in Mashmak. If you fail to extract, you’ll lose the crate, so don’t get greedy.
From Mod Assembly
Once you have 10 mods of the same rarity, you can combine them in the Mods tab using Mod Assembly. This gives you one mod of the next higher tier.
It’s a slow process, but it helps clean up duplicates and gives you stronger gear over time.
How to Use and Equip Mods
Mods are equipped from the Hangar > Mods menu.
Each mech has 5 component slots, and each slot can hold mods that boost different stats. Some mods improve things you’re already good at, while others fix weak points in your build.
Example: You can boost energy on a fast mech to extend uptime
Or stack armor on a tank to become harder to kill
Stats are shown on the right side of the screen, so you can see how each mod changes your build before launching.
Final Blurb
Mods are your main tool for customizing a mech to fit your playstyle. It’s not just about stacking the highest rarity, it’s about synergy. Use supply crates to farm what you need, and keep an eye on your mech’s strengths and weaknesses before loading in.
