PEAK Game Map Rotation & Reset Time Guide

Written by Jason B.

In PEAK, the map changes every day with a brand-new island layout. This daily map & level reset includes a full refresh of all biomes, rock paths, bridge placements, loot spawns, and terrain formations.

Here’s when the daily island reset happens and how the rotation system works.

When the Map Resets in PEAK

PEAK's maps reset once every 24 hours, and the reset happens at the same time each day.

  • Reset Time: Around 12 PM Central Time

  • That’s 1 PM Eastern, 10 AM Pacific, and 5 PM UTC

You can check the time left until the next island rotation by looking at the top-right corner of the main menu. It shows a live countdown labeled "New Island in..."

Once the timer hits zero, a brand-new procedurally generated island is loaded. You don’t have to restart the game to see it; it automatically refreshes.

How Map Rotation Works

PEAK currently features four main biomes, but each day’s layout is completely different.

  • Bridges, cliffs, zip lines, and loot crates move to new spots

  • The climb may be easier or harder depending on terrain generation

  • All difficulty modes use the same island layout for that day

If you're stuck or dislike the layout, you can just wait for the next daily reset to try a different path. That’s part of the game’s design loop.

You can repeat the same island as many times as you want within a day. Once it rotates, it's gone for good.

The daily map rotation in PEAK keeps every climb fresh and unpredictable.

If the route feels impossible today, come back after the timer hits zero and see what the next island throws at you.
