PEAK Game List of All Foods

Written by Jason B.

Here’s a list of food that you can find in the game PEAK.

Note: Foraged food can be cooked at a campfire for a big boost... around 60 to 70 percent improvement. Just don’t cook it three times unless you like stomachaches (poison).

List of All Food in PEAK (Work in Progress)

Antidote (Packaged)

Removes poison. Found in luggage. Save it for bad mushroom choices.

Big Lollipop (Packaged)

Gives you infinite stamina for a short time. Afterward, you’ll get hit with a fatigue debuff.

Blue Berrynana (Foraged)

Found on vines in the Tropics. Safe to eat. Leaves a peel behind that can trip you.

Bugle Shroom (Foraged)

Flower-like cap. Safe if it’s darker and clean. Poisonous ones are lighter with webbing under the top.

Button Shroom (Cross) (Foraged)

Round with an X on top. Safe version. If it’s spotty and missing the X, it’s poisonous.

Capybara Yellow Winterberry (Foraged)

Grows on capybaras in the Alpine. Weird source, but completely safe.

Chubby Shroom (Foraged)

Thick stalk and flat top. Safe to eat. No confirmed poisonous version yet.

Cluster Shroom (Foraged)

Looks like a little mushroom bush. Safe if the stalk is smooth. Frilly stalk means poison.

Coconut (Foraged)

Grows in clusters on palm trees at the Shore. Safe. Throw it to crack it open.

Granola Bar (Packaged)

Multi-use snack. Refills hunger. Found in luggage.

Green Crispberry (Foraged)

Small green bush at the Shore. Poisonous.

Green Kingberry (Foraged)

Found in trees in the Tropics. Fills hunger but poisons you.

Honeycomb (Foraged)

In treetop beehives. Restores a lot of stamina and gives bonus stamina. Bees are the only danger here.

Marshmallow (Packaged)

Only found near the top, by peak campfires. Basic hunger refill.

Medicinal Root (Foraged)

Red-topped root pulled from the ground. Heals injury damage.

Orange Winterberry (Foraged)

Found in trees in the Alpine. Safe to eat.

Red Crispberry (Foraged)

Safe berry found in bushes around the Shore and Tropics.

Remedy Fungus (Foraged, Not Edible)

Throw it to clear poison and other bad effects. Not for eating.

Scout Cookies (Packaged)

Multi-use food from luggage. Fills hunger.

Shelf Mushroom (Foraged, Not Edible)

Used for movement. Throw it to create a small platform. Definitely not food.

Sports Drink (Packaged)

Temporarily boosts your stamina bar. Good for big climbs.

Thick Mints (Packaged)

Multi-use hunger refill. Found in luggage.

Trail Mix (Packaged)

Refills hunger. Nothing fancy, just works.

Yellow Kingberry (Foraged)

Found in trees in the Tropics. Poisonous, despite the nice color.

Final Blurb

Just because it looks tasty doesn’t mean it won’t knock you out. Foraged food can be great, but poison stacks fast.

Stick to what’s safe, cook when you can, and avoid the pretty berries unless you like respawning.

FAQ

Q: Can you cook food in PEAK?

Yes. Cooking it once makes it 60 to 70 percent more effective. Cooking it twice resets that bonus. Cook it three times and it burns, which poisons you.

Q: Which foods are poisonous?

Green Crispberry, Green Kingberry, Yellow Kingberry, and the wrong versions of Bugle, Button, and Cluster Shrooms.

Q: What food is safest to eat early on?

Red Crispberry, Coconut, and Chubby Shroom are all easy to find and safe to eat.

Q: Can you eat Shelf or Remedy mushrooms?

No. Shelf is used for crossing gaps. Remedy clears poison effects but can’t be eaten.

Q: Are all mushrooms dangerous?

No, but several have toxic lookalikes. Use visual clues before you take a bite.
