V Rising 1.1 - New Blood Types & Effects

The 1.1 update overhauled how blood types work in V Rising, giving each type new effects, rebalanced bonuses, and a fifth tier capstone that boosts everything across the board. There's also a new blood type, Corrupted, for vampires who like high risk, high reward builds.

Here is information on the new blood type and what changed with the others.

Corrupted (New)

High-risk, high-reward blood with nasty side effects.

  • I: 25–50% reduced damage from Corrupted enemies, +5% life leech, +10% more damage from everything else

  • II: Reduces max corruption stacks by 4–8, but blood drains 50–100% faster

  • III: +12% move speed, +18% attack speed, but 25% chance to erupt and snare self when hit

  • IV: +15 spell/weapon charge gain, 30% chance to spawn a shadow that attacks you when using an ability

  • V: Boosts all above effects by 20%, increases blood cap

Rogue

Built for speed, crits, and burst damage.

  • I: +16% physical crit chance, +8% crit power

  • II: +8% move speed, +10% move speed for 3s on kill

  • III: +14% veil cooldown rate, 100% crit chance after using veil

  • IV: 50% chance on crit to reduce enemy armor by 15% for 4s

  • V: Boosts all above effects by 20%, increases blood cap

Warrior

Good for melee builds that rely on weapon skills and charge attacks.

  • I: +10% physical power, +30% veil attack damage

  • II: +14% weapon cooldown rate, +5% skill leech

  • III: +16% weapon skill power, +24% damage to full-health targets

  • IV: +12 weapon charge gain

  • V: Boosts all above effects by 20%, increases blood cap

Scholar

Best for spellcasters who like cooldown resets and shield uptime.

  • I: +14% spell power, +10% shield efficiency

  • II: +14% spell cooldown rate, shield self for 25% of spell power

  • III: +20% ultimate power, reset spell cooldowns when using ult

  • IV: +12 spell charge gain

  • V: Boosts all above effects by 20%, increases blood cap

Draculin

Crit-focused caster blood with movement speed and leech.

  • I: +14% spell power, +8% spell crit power

  • II: +16% crit chance, +8% move speed for 8s on spell hit

  • III: +10% spell leech, +3% spell charge gain

  • IV: Spell crits increase cooldown rate by 40% for 3s

  • V: Boosts all above effects by 20%, increases blood cap

Mutant

Shape-shifting chaos with cooldowns, pets, and veil synergy.

  • I: +14% spell power, +10% shapeshift speed

  • II: +28% ult cooldown rate, summon 2 mutant rats on ult

  • III: +20% ult power, +12% minion damage

  • IV: +7% veil cooldown rate, veil attack reduces ult cooldown by 7s

  • V: Boosts all above effects by 20%, increases blood cap

Creature

Tanky and fast—ideal for staying alive while roaming.

  • I: +16% max health, +40% health regen

  • II: +8% move speed, +8% shapeshift speed

  • III: +24% healing received, +20 all resistances

  • IV: Bite heals 5% max HP and gives +25% attack speed and physical damage

  • V: Boosts all above effects by 20%, increases blood cap

Brute

Best for frontline bruisers and sustain-heavy builds.

  • I: +14% primary attack speed, +5% physical power

  • II: +10% life leech on primary, +4% damage reduction

  • III: +16% max health, heal 5% of enemy HP on kill

  • IV: 15% parry chance (25% damage reduction), gain +20% physical power for 3.5s after parry

  • V: Boosts all above effects by 20%, increases blood cap

Worker

For resource grinding and map clearing.

  • I: +24% resource yield

  • II: +24% damage to resource objects

  • III: +16% mount speed

  • IV: 3% chance to destroy node instantly and gain a burst of speed

  • V: Boosts all above effects by 20%, increases blood cap

Every blood type now matters more than ever, especially with the Blood Homogenizer letting you mix them. If you want speed, crit, or leech, there’s a bloodline for it. Just maybe don’t run Corrupted unless you’re feeling lucky.
