*This guide is a work in progress and will be updated soon
Subclasses were added in version 72025.a3 and are unlocked by purchasing tomes from the Crescent Grove Hard badge vendor. The current options are Paladin, Bishop, and Magus.
These subclasses are still being developed and may change in future updates.
How to Unlock Subclasses
To unlock a subclass, you need to:
Clear Crescent Grove on Hard mode (level 20 to 25)
Earn one Grove badge per run
Use Grove badges to buy a subclass tome from the dungeon’s badge vendor
Each tome is permanent and binds your character to that subclass. Some tomes have a level requirement to use, such as level 28.
There are no subclass quests or alternative unlock methods.
Paladin Subclass Overview
Paladin is a melee and mystic hybrid with a support focus.
Right now, all of its abilities fall under the Divine type. These abilities are designed to deal damage and draw aggro. Healing is not part of the Divine effect at this time.
Paladin does not yet have multiple ability types, passives, or traits. More will be added later.
Bishop Subclass Overview
Bishop is a healing-focused subclass with magic utility.
It currently has four abilities:
A long-range beam that deals holy damage and heals allies
A nova that deals holy damage and reduces holy resistance
An area heal that also gives regeneration
A buff that increases magic resistance and shadow resistance
All healing abilities count as support, which means they interact with support skill slots. Bishop is the most developed subclass so far.
Magus Subclass Overview
Magus is a high-damage subclass focused on fast casting.
Current skills include things like:
Ruin: A triple-hit magic attack that lowers magic defense
Haste: A support spell that cuts cast time and cooldowns in half
Magus has fewer skills than Bishop and drains mana quickly. Mana potions are recommended. More abilities are planned but not available yet.
Subclass Comparisons
Paladin: Melee-mystic hybrid with Divine abilities. Still in early development.
Bishop: Healing and support-focused. Has the most finished skills.
Magus: Magic DPS with speed buffs. Good burst damage but fewer abilities for now.
Each subclass fits a different role. Bishop currently has the most depth, but all three are still being expanded.
