R.E.P.O. follows the Lethal Company formula—creepy locations, terrifying creatures, and just enough teamwork to make you question your friendships. But before you start screaming into your mic, you’ll need to figure out how to join a lobby. Here’s a basic guide on how to create and join lobbies.
How to Host a Lobby in R.E.P.O.
If you’re the one with the best internet (or the least patience for lag), hosting is for you. Here’s how to set up a lobby:
Launch the game.
Select “Host Game.”
Press “Yes” when the game asks if you’re sure. (It will. Twice.)
Start a new game or load a save if you’ve already got one.
Press “Yes” again because R.E.P.O. really wants you to be sure.
Use the “Invite” button to bring your friends in.
The game runs on peer-to-peer servers, which means the host’s internet quality affects everyone. If your connection is held together with duct tape and hope, maybe let someone else take the reins.

Not hosting? That’s even easier:
Wait for an invite.
Accept the invite.
You’re in.
That’s it. No matchmaking. No public lobbies (yet). Just you and your friends, trying to survive in a world that really doesn’t want you to.
Future Changes
Since R.E.P.O. is still in early access more online features could still be on the way. Until then, bring your own crew—or prepare for a very lonely horror experience.
