The Executioner's Sword is a powerful sword in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, but acquiring it normally involves the quest "The Executioner's Pride", which is given by the executioner Heinz. However, virtually everyone is struggling to get the quest to trigger, even after completing other side quests and trying to talk to Heinz… So, if you want this sword, you’ll have to use workaround using console commands and mods to spawn the sword into your inventory.

Note: If you’re not comfortable with console commands you’ll have to wait for now until an official update happens.

Getting the Executioner's Sword via Console Command:

  1. Download the Required Mods:

  2. Install the Mods:

    • Extract and place the mod files into the Mods folder of your Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 installation directory. If you don’t have a Mods folder, create one and put the files there.

  3. Enable Dev Mode:

    • Launch the game in -devmode to use console commands. To do this, right-click KCD2 in Steam, select Properties, go to Set Launch Options, and add -devmode.

  4. Spawn the Executioner's Sword:

    • After launching the game in -devmode, use the Item ID Mod to locate the Executioner's Sword in the "NonQuest Quest Melee" section of the ID sheet.

    • Copy the following command:
      wh_cheat_addItem kovaniKatuvSleh_longSwordExecutioner_add

    • Open the console in-game and paste the command. Press Enter and the sword will appear in your inventory.

Troubleshooting Tips:

  • If the command doesn’t work, make sure the mods are installed correctly and you're in devmode.

  • If you’re still having trouble, follow the mod's installation instructions carefully or consult the mod creator’s documentation for additional help.

With these steps, you can skip the broken quest and directly obtain the Executioner's Sword in your inventory. Enjoy your new weapon!
