How to Make Ash Planks in RuneScape: Dragonwilds

If you've been unlocking recipes that ask for Ash Planks but can’t figure out how to make them we got the answer here. The game doesn’t exactly hand you a guidebook, but once you understand the chain of upgrades, it all clicks into place.

Here’s how to make ash planks in RuneScape: Dragonwilds.

Step 1: Get a Bone Pickaxe

You’ll need to mine Copper and Tin, which means you need a Bone Pickaxe first.

• Unlock the Kiln, then smelt Swamp Tar to get Adhesive

• This unlocks the ability to craft the Bone Pickaxe

• Once you have it, you can finally mine the ore needed to move forward

Step 2: Craft Bronze Bars

Use Copper and Tin at a Furnace to make Bronze Bars.
Bronze Bars are a key part of progressing your crafting stations, especially the next one on the list.

Step 3: Build the Lumbermill

Once you've got Bronze Bars, you can unlock the Lumbermill. This is the workstation that lets you turn logs into planks.

To make Ash Planks, you need:

• Ash Logs (from chopping trees in beginner regions like Temple Woods)

• A Lumbermill

Place the Ash Logs into the Lumbermill, and out come Ash Planks. Simple—once you've jumped through three upgrade hoops to get there.
