Switching vehicles in RoadCraft isn’t hard, but if you don’t know how it works, you’ll waste a lot of time walking halfway across the map or wondering why your crane truck is still parked in the river.

You’ll need to swap between trucks, cranes, loaders, and whatever else you’ve unlocked... because RoadCraft loves teamwork. With yourself.

Here’s how to switch between vehicles, and how not to accidentally leave your best truck a bunch of zones away.

Open the Map and Find the Vehicles Tab

Start by opening your map screen.

At the top, you’ll see several categories like Objectives, Bridges, and Vehicles.

Click on Vehicles.

This will show every vehicle you’ve unlocked, including their last known location.

Each one will have a little icon, and your current vehicle will be marked with a green symbol.

Choose the Vehicle You Want to Use

Click on any vehicle to bring up two options:

  • Focus Camera

  • Enter Vehicle

Focus Camera just zooms the view to where the vehicle is.

Enter Vehicle is what you want to click if you’re ready to drive it.

As soon as you hit that, you’ll take control of the new vehicle at its current location.

No, it doesn’t teleport to you. And no, you can’t magically move trucks across the map.

You switch to wherever that vehicle was last parked.

Plan Ahead When Swapping

Since vehicles don’t move on their own, you need to leave them in good spots.

Don’t just abandon your crane truck in the middle of a swamp unless you want to regret it later.

You can even drive one vehicle while dragging another behind it using a winch. That way, you can move two trucks at once and avoid double trips.

It’s a good idea when you’re heading out far from base.

Can You Teleport a Vehicle?

Not exactly, but there is a vehicle reset option.

Final Blurb & FAQ

Swapping vehicles in RoadCraft is key to getting stuff done efficiently.

Just remember, they don’t follow you around, and they definitely don’t teleport.

Think of it less like GTA, and more like “strategic truck juggling simulator.”
