Mycopunk Co-Op Guide
Written by Jason B.
Mycopunk supports up to four players per mission and is designed around team-based combat. While solo play is possible, the co-op system gives you more tools to survive, clear objectives faster, and take advantage of class abilities that work better together.
How Co-Op Missions Work
Each mission allows up to four players in the same squad. You all choose a class, bring your own weapons, and complete objectives on a shared map. You don’t need voice chat to succeed, but coordination helps during high enemy waves and moving objectives.
Players can revive each other if they get downed. You’ll fail the mission if everyone is knocked out.
Co-Op Class Breakdown
Each employee has two unique abilities. Some focus on support, others on movement or damage. Picking a balanced squad makes it easier to survive longer missions.
Bruiser
Good for tanking and pushing forward. His shield blocks incoming fire, and his slam deals area damage.
Best for holding chokepoints or defending teammates who are hacking or carrying objectives.
Glider
Great for mobility and healing. Her Rocket Salvo damages enemies and heals allies. Her wingsuit helps cover ground fast.
Useful for revives, dodging enemy groups, or reaching distant objectives quickly.
Scrapper
Focused on team mobility. His jetpack gives vertical movement, and his Grapple Pole lets everyone zip across the map.
Strong pick for maps with vertical layouts or objectives spread across long distances.
Wrangler
A flexible option. He can grapple toward enemies or items and use a mid-air dash for repositioning.
Best for chasing stragglers, collecting scattered objectives, or grabbing loot before enemies swarm.
Best Co-Op Team Tips
Mix Roles When Possible
A good team has at least one Bruiser to absorb damage and one support or mobility employee to handle objectives.
Use Frenzy Boosts Together
If someone uses a Frenzy code, make sure the team is ready. Frenzies boost income for a short time, so they’re best used during heavy fights or big objective pushes.
Split Duties on Objective Maps
Send mobile players to handle switches or cargo. Leave damage-heavy employees to hold the center and protect the group.
Learn the Map
Some missions feature rails or grapple points that let you move faster. Take advantage of these to stay ahead of swarm spawns.
Focus Fire During Boss Waves
Tough enemies usually have weak points. Work together to break armor or stagger them before they wipe the team.
Final Blurb
Mycopunk is a fast-paced shooter that’s clearly made for co-op play. The more your squad learns to use class tools together, the easier it is to complete missions and unlock better gear.
It’s playable solo, but it’s at its best when your whole crew is dropping in.
