Mycopunk Private Lobby Guide

Written by Jason B.

You can create a mycopunk private lobby by using the in-game Social menu. Even though the game only shows "Host" and "Join," you can still play solo or set up a private multiplayer session.

How to Set Up a Mycopunk Private Lobby

Use the Social Menu

  • Open your inventory

  • Go to the Social tab

  • Select Join a Crew

  • Move the visibility slider from Public to Private

This makes your lobby private. You can play alone or with invited friends.

Can You Play Solo or Offline in Mycopunk?

Yes. You can host a session as a private lobby and play solo. It also works offline, including on Steam Deck.

Why It Looks Multiplayer-Only

Mycopunk shows "Host" and "Join," but hosting lets you play solo. Making a private lobby just keeps other players out.

And that’s how you do it. Hosting acts as single-player, and the private lobby setting is just tucked away in the Social menu.
