Mycopunk Resources Guide
Written by Jason B.
Resources in Mycopunk are the key to getting stronger. You need them to upgrade your gear, unlock new powers, and keep up with the rising difficulty. Some drop during missions, others need a bit more effort.
Here’s every resource in the game and how to get it.
Gats
This is the standard currency used for basic upgrades and purchases.
How to get it: Complete missions. You’ll always earn some Gats, even on failure.
Romphus
A rare fungus found on infected enemies.
How to get it: Kill enemies that show fungal growth. Romphus drops after destroying the infected area.
Gussula
This one’s tricky. Gussula is a little mushroom creature that tries to run away.
How to get it: Find one on the ground, punch it with no weapon equipped, then punch it again as it flees. If it escapes, it despawns.
Beezia
This one is stored in sealed containers.
How to get it: Look for glowing canisters during missions. Open the container and the Beezia will auto-collect.
Yeuco
A sticky fungus that fuses with metal when used right.
How to get it: Pick up a Yeuco sample during a mission, throw it at an enemy, then kill that enemy. The Yeuco only drops if the kill happens while coated.
Upgrade Point
Used to unlock permanent upgrades on any character.
How to get it: You earn these every time you level up. No other way to farm them.
Saxonite
A rare high-tier resource only found in tough missions.
How to get it: Complete missions on the highest difficulty. It doesn’t drop early.
Final Blurb
You’ll get most Mycopunk resources just by playing the game, but a few of them need special handling or quick reflexes. Gussula and Yeuco especially reward players who pay attention mid-mission. Saxonite, on the other hand, is just a test of how far you can push yourself.
