How to Fix Your Tractor in Farming Simulator 25
Keeping your tractor in top shape in Farming Simulator 25 is essential for running a smooth operation. Here's a quick guide to repair and repaint your tractor, whether at the store or on your own farm:
Check Your Tractor’s Condition
Condition Bar: When you hop into a tractor, look at the blue repair bar in the bottom right corner. If it's low, your tractor needs repairs.
Performance Issues: A damaged tractor will have reduced power and may slow down when operating tools like plows and seeders. Regular repairs prevent yield losses from reduced efficiency.
Repair at the Store
Drive to the Store: Take your tractor to the store and look for the repair icon.
Access Repair Options: Exit the tractor, go to the repair icon, and open the repair and repaint options (R on the PC).
Repair Your Tractor: Select "Repair" to restore performance. While repainting is also an option, it only affects appearance, so it’s usually only worth it before selling.
Tip: Repairing prevents efficiency drops in your tractor, whereas repainting just makes it look newer without any performance benefits.
Setting Up Repairs at Your Farm
If you’d rather not drive to the store every time, set up a repair trigger on your farm:
Place a Repair Station: Go into Build Mode, navigate to Tools, and select a repair station. Place it where it’s accessible.
Using the Repair Station: Once placed, simply drive your tractor to the repair station, exit, and repair it (R on PC). Unlike the store, farm repair stations don’t offer repainting—only repairs.
Optional: Repainting Your Tractor
Repainting is done only at the store. It’s purely cosmetic, so while it’s useful if you want your tractor to look new, it won’t impact performance. Repainting will remove chipped paint, scratches, and wear, making your tractor look factory-fresh.
Tip: Set up a repair station at your farm for easy access, and skip repainting unless you’re about to sell the vehicle.
