In Farming Simulator 25, making Total Mixed Ration (TMR) is used for keeping your cows and water buffalo healthy and productive. Here's how to create TMR:

1. Gather Ingredients

  • Hay: Dried grass used as a primary component.

  • Silage: Fermented grass or chaff.

  • Straw (Optional): Acts as a filler to extend the mix.

  • Mineral Feed (Optional): Increases the nutritional value of the mix.

2. Choose Mixing Equipment

  • Trailed Mixers: Affordable options that attach to tractors, with capacities ranging from 35,000 to 45,000 liters.

  • Self-Propelled Mixers: Integrated machines that can collect materials directly from the ground, suitable for larger operations.

3. Mixing Process

  • Load the Mixer:

    • Start by adding hay and silage into the mixer, ensuring each constitutes at least 25% but no more than 75% of the total mix.

    • If using straw, ensure it doesn't exceed 25% of the mix to maintain quality.

    • Add a small amount of mineral feed if desired.

  • Monitor Ratios:

    • Keep an eye on the mixing ratio display to ensure all components are within the optimal range.

    • Adjust quantities as needed to achieve a balanced mix.

4. Feeding Your Animals

  • Deliver the TMR:

    • Transport the prepared TMR to your cow or buffalo feeding area.

    • Unload the mix into the feeding troughs to provide your animals with high-quality nutrition.

Properly mixed TMR gives maximum productivity and health for your livestock, leading to increased milk production.
