Picking up items in Caves of Qud is simple. Here’s how you can do it:

Step 1: Stand on the Item

1. Move your character onto the tile where the item is located.

2. Items on the ground are usually shown with symbols like * or specific icons.

Step 2: Open the Interaction Menu

1. Press Spacebar or Enter to open the interaction menu.

2. A list of actions will appear, including the option to pick up items.

Step 3: Select the Item

1. Use the arrow keys or mouse to highlight the item you want to pick up.

2. Press Enter or the corresponding key to confirm.

Step 4: Manage Your Inventory

1. The item is now in your inventory. Press "i" to check your items.

2. Be aware of your carry weight. If you’re overburdened, you’ll move slower or not at all.

Quick Pickup Shortcut
