Tainted Grail The Fall of Avalon - How to Romance Beor

You can romance Beor in Tainted Grail The Fall of Avalon, but it’s not something you stumble into by accident. You’ll need to save him, help rebuild his heart (literally), and stick by his side through some dark and deadly quests. If you're not careful, you can mess it up... or worse, doom him entirely.
Here’s how to make Beor fall for you without losing him or your shot at love.
Step 1: Save Beor From the Fae
Start the “Change of Heart” quest
When you reach Cuanacht, head to the craftsman district and find the blacksmith’s house. Inside, you'll meet Erfyr and Beor. Beor is badly wounded and won’t say what happened.
Head to the cave
Erfyr believes Beor followed a Fae woman to a cave. Travel northwest of town to the marked cave. Kill the Fae creature at the top of the waterfall, loot her body, and recover Beor’s heart.
Return the heart
Bring the heart back to Erfyr. He’ll restore Beor, and the forge will reopen. Beor is safe... for now.
Step 2: Help Beor Forge a New Heart
Start the “The Heart That Defies” quest
After a few days, check back on Beor. He’ll ask for help forging a new heart because his current one isn’t quite working right.
Talk to Kvorr
You’ll eventually meet Kvorr southeast of town. Tell him about Beor’s condition. He agrees to forge a new heart if you bring him:
Wyrdstone Ore (from the Garden under Blood Lake)
10 Ethereal Cobwebs
Choose how to power the heart
Once Kvorr forges the heart, you need to decide how to fill it with life:
Kill others to fuel the heart: Beor goes mad over time and locks himself away.
Convince him not to use it: He lives but becomes bitter and distant.
Sacrifice your own energy: Lose 40 max HP, but Beor recovers fully and opens up to you.
If you want to romance Beor, you must give up your own life force. There’s no workaround.
Step 3: Help Him Build the Warhammer
Start the “Stitch by Stitch” quest
Visit Beor again a few days later. He’ll ask you to gather materials for a special warhammer he’s making for someone he cares about.
You’ll need:
Black Alder branches from the swamp west of town
Beor’s family iron, buried in a plot north of town (bring a shovel)
Whispering Crystals, found in the mines outside the southern gate
Each zone has monsters, undead, or Wyrdspawn, so come ready to fight.
Step 4: Confess Your Feelings
After delivering all the materials, Beor finishes the warhammer and confesses his feelings. He offers it to you as a gift.
To romance him:
Tell him you return his feelings.
You’ll receive the Heartwrought warhammer (15 Strength required, high chance to stun on heavy hits).
Beor then promises to wait for you, cheer you on, and be your anchor. He doesn’t ask you to stop adventuring, just to come back now and then.
Final Blurb
Romancing Beor is one of the rare bright spots in Tainted Grail. You’ll have to fight monsters, sacrifice your own health, and literally help rebuild his heart... but if you stick with him, you’ll earn one of the most genuine relationships in the game. Also, the guy gives you a magic hammer. What’s not to love?
