In Mirthwood, the Hammer Time quest involves assisting the blacksmith, Clayton, in retrieving his lost hammer. Completing this quest not only aids Clayton but also grants you valuable rewards and access to his services.

Quest Overview

Objective: Locate and return Clayton's missing hammer.
Reward: Two Iron Bars and access to Clayton's blacksmith services.

Steps to Complete the Quest

Initiate the Quest:
- Visit Clayton at his blacksmith shop on the southwest side of Brightoak.
- Engage in conversation and select the dialogue option, "I'll look for the hammer," to accept the quest.
Acquire the Bow Recipe:
- Clayton mentions that his hammer is stuck in a tree and provides you with a bow diagram.
- Open your radial menu by pressing TAB, and click on the diagram to learn the bow recipe.
Craft the Bow:
- Materials Needed:
  - 50 Wood
  - 1 Iron Bar
- Use the anvil at your farm to craft the bow.
- Ensure you have the required materials; wood can be gathered by chopping trees, and iron bars can be smelted from iron ore.
Equip the Bow:
- Open your radial menu (TAB) and equip the bow by selecting it in the top right corner.
Locate the Hammer:
- Proceed to the area just southwest of the blacksmith shop, directly below the pond.
- Look for a tree with the hammer lodged in its branches.
Retrieve the Hammer:
- With the bow equipped, hold the left mouse button (M1) to aim at the tree.
- Release M1 to shoot an arrow at the tree; hitting it will cause the hammer to fall to the ground.
- Pick up the hammer.
Return to Clayton:
- Bring the hammer back to Clayton at his blacksmith shop.
- He will express his gratitude, reward you with two Iron Bars, and his shop will become fully operational.

Tips

Material Gathering: Collecting 50 Wood and 1 Iron Bar is necessary for crafting the bow. Plan on gathering those resources accordingly.
Bow Usage: Practice aiming and shooting with the bow so you can hit the tree accurately.
Map Navigation: Use the in-game map to locate the area southwest of the blacksmith shop for efficient navigation.
